Atherton Press was founded in California’s Silicon Valley in 1997 by Corinne Lathrop Gilb. Her vision for the press was the publication of historical writings with multi-disciplinary perspectives, including analyses of changing current events as they impacted the world's social, political, cultural, and business communities. Dr. Gilb passed away in early 2003. The company continued through the work of her daughters, Lesley Gilb Taplin and Tyra Gilb, until Atherton Press closed in 2009.
Atherton Press publications are now out of print, but the complete text of Toward Holistic History may be viewed through the Corinne Lathrop Gilb website: www.corinnelathropgilb.com
Please note that there was another publishing company called Atherton Press that closed before our own company was formed. We have received many requests for permission to reprint portions of the other company’s publications, but we do not own those rights and have been unable to ascertain who does own them at this time. We only own the rights to the three publications listed on our website.
Further enquiries should be addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org, but there may be some delay before your message is received.
Thank you for your interest in Atherton Press.
